Description

Join us for a day of fish shocking with the Forest Service Fisheries crew. We will be collecting data on the fish populations of the North Fork of the Swan River. It is a short walk to site but the surveying will involve off trail travel in wet land areas while wearing waders. Be prepared for uneven footing. USFS will be providing waders and boots. You will not be allowed to use personal waders due to biosecurity.

Cancellation: There are limited volunteer spots for this project due to protection of the wetland habitat. This is a very unique opprotunity so please make sure you can make it. If you have to cancel please do so at least 48 hours in advance so we can fill your spot.  Let us know by emailing info@fdrd.org or calling 970 262-3449.
