Description

Bob Rall, retired Petroleum Geologist, and Hilary Downes, professor of Igneous Geochemistry and Planetary Geology at Birbeck, University of London, will guide us by bike from Frisco to Montezuma Rd. Along the way, they'll turn our attention towards terminal moraines, igneous intrusions, and sediments deposited by the Cretaceous seaway.

We'll meet for 9am at the Giberson Day Use Lot on the Dillon Dam Rd (location here). From there, we'll ride around 12 miles to the Power Line parking lot on Montezuma Rd.

People will need to bring their own bike (ebikes are fine) and either arrange for a shuttle or bike back to the Giberson parking lot. We may also stick around Keystone after to grab some lunch!
