The Rock Creek Trailhead serves as a portal to the Eagles Nest Wilderness and Gore Range Trail for many hikers and campers. The trailhead needs some infrastructure improvements.  Volunteer with the Summit Seniors the morning of July 7th for forest stewardship work intalling buck and rail fencing.

Driving Directions: From I-70 take Exit 205, Silverthorne/Dillon, and travel north on HWY 9 for approximately 7.7 miles. Turn left onto Rock Creek Road (FDR 1350) across from the Blue River Campground. Follow the gravel road for approximately 1.2 miles and turn left at the road marked “Rock Creek”.
