Description

Noxious weeds are harmful to our native wildflower and plant population. Help us remove noxious thistles from our forest and learn more about other various noxious weeds. We are partnering with our friends at Eagle Summit Wilderness Alliance.  We will be hiking the Hunters Knob area removing non native Thistles - Musk and Plumeless Thistles. Total hiking distance for project is about 1-2 miles.  Meet at Maryland Creek Park at 4pm and we will carpool to Hunters Knob parking access. And will plan to be back at vehicles between  6-7pm.

Driving Directions: From Exit 205 (Dillon/Silverthorne) head north on CO-9 towards Silverthorne.  In about 4 miles turn left on Maryland Creek Ln.  (turn off for park and Summit Sky Ranch).  Trailhead/park parking lot is on right hand side.
