Join dedicated FDRD volunteer and birder extraordinaire, Ruth Heimburger Carroll, for a driving tour to spy on a few of our local raptor nests here in Summit County from a distance with a spotting scope. If we are lucky we will see some osprey, hawks, maybe even a bald or golden eagle!

We will meet at the Silverthorne Outlets Red Village parking lot, next to the The Gap outlet and right off River Road, at 8:45 am for a check-in and briefing of the day. From here, we will hit the road to do some bird spotting! The tour is planned to last 3 hours. We'll be in and out of vehicles all morning so be sure to bring what you need at the start of the tour.
